Hallstatt

From Salzburg our route takes us via Gosau (Dachstein view), Russbach and Abtenau directly to Hallstatt. Because of the extraordinery importance of the beautiful cultural landscape, Hallstatt was declared a World Heritage Site in 1997 by UNESCO. After a sufficiant time we continue to Bad Ischl which is still shaped by the time it was used as a summer residence by the imperial court under the Emperor Franz Josef. In the afternoon we move on to St. Wolfgang and return to Salzburg via Hof and Fuschl.
