Horsedrawn Sleigh Ride

Our full day excursion takes you along the Salzach river valley past many of Austria's ski resorts. Near Schladming, location of the 1982 ski World Championships, we ascend up to the 'Steirische Ramsau' 1000 m above sea level at the base of one of the Alpine glacier massives - the Dachstein. In the village there is time for a stroll in the frosty fresh air and lunch in one of the local inns. Your guide will inform you of the possibilities. Then you'll hear the jingling bells on the reigns as the sleighs line up across the field and your winter sleigh-ride begins ! A stop for refreshments is made along the way where the horses rest and you have the possibility to try some Austrian specialities. Rosy cheeks and happy expressions are proof that it was a succesful day - one that you´ll remember long afterwards. Excursion destination may be altered to snow conditions.
