Tour 4 - Eagles Nest

A special kind of adventure awaits you on our excursion to Bavaria - Berchtesgaden. Past the village Anif and cross the Austrian-Bavarian border. Along the Königsee River Valley, through the Bavarian mountains, along romantic farmhouses and Obersalzberg, we arrive at the highlight of our journey. A bus and elevator will bring us to the Eagle's Nest. The buses to the Eagle's Nest are equipped with special engines and brakes to transport you from the Obersalzberg to the Eagle's Nest. The adventurous bus ride along the steep rock walls and deep gorges takes about 20 minutes.

During the journey you will have a splendid view up to the 'Hoher Goell' and across the snowcapped peaks of the Bavarian mountains. With the elevator (length 425 ft) you enter the Eagle's Nest (6.017 ft). On the way down contented faces are living proof that it was a successful excursion and many of the guests will return again and again to the Eagle's Nest.

Afterwards you have the chance to regain your strength with some Bavarian specialities.
