Enjoy your private tour with private driver/guide taking you to the most important sights of the city in just one hour:
The tour starts at Mirabell Palace with its famous Mirabell Gardens. The palace is not only a popular wedding location but was also a shooting location for the movie “The Sound of Music”. Next, the tour takes you past Mozart’s Residence at Makart Square. The Mozart family lived in the so-called “Dance Master’s House” for eight years from 1781. Today, the building houses the Mozart Residence Museum. After crossing the Staatsbrücke, this bus tour takes you through the Salzburg Festival District with the most important venues of the famous Salzburg Festival: the Large Festival Hall, the Summer Riding School and the House for Mozart. One highlight of this our is definitely the photo stop at the lake opposite of Leopoldskron Palace. Seize this opportunity to take a great souvenir picture with the famous filming location of “The Sound of Music” in the background. The route back takes you through the part of the city called Nonntal with the Nonnberg Abbey and ends at the Mönchsberg elevator.
Coffee & cake with a phenomenal view
Let the Mönchsberg elevator (included in our tour) conveniently take you up to the top of the Mönchsberg and the renowned Restaurant M32. Enjoy the unique view of Salzburg as well as coffee and cake. The patio up here was also a shooting location for “The Sound of Music”.
The Restaurant M32 is part of the Museum of Modern Art Salzburg – Mönchsberg. Use the opportunity to discover modern and contemporary art in the museum. With the Salzburg Card, entry to the museum is free.
