Vienna Boys´ Choir: They stand in the tradition of the court choirboys who were founded in 1498 by Emperor Maximilian I. The task of the originally about 14 to 20 boys was the musical design of the Holy Mass. Today, the elite boys' choirs, which are among the most renowned and well-known choirs in the world, are composed mainly of Austrians, but also of children from other European and non-European countries. Worldwide, the Vienna Boys' Choirs give around 300 concerts a year. Today there are about 100 Viennese singing boys, divided into four choirs. At the unique Advent concert at 25.11.2016 in the famous Mozarteum in the Mozart city of Salzburg, you will have the opportunity to experience the world famous Choir live - an unforgettable experience!
