Feel the Music of Mozart.

First, about 130 miles on the divided highway, until we arrive in the Lake District with the most impressive Alpine countryside, mighty mountains and lakes with the clearest waters (drinking quality).

This is the region where they filmed "The Sound of Music". Along lake and river Traun, we eventually arrive at Bad Ischl - here the Emperor Franz Joseph spent his summer vacation hiking and mountain climbing and 3000 years ago the Celts acquired geat prosperity by mining crystalline salt - some of these mines still exist.

On, past St. Wolfgang and Fuschl lakes we will arrive in Salzburg and taken an hour walk through the old part of the City with those many churches, markets and Mozart's house of birth. Before we head back to Vienna, we will visit Hellbrunn Palace with its amusing and amazing water displays.
