Enjoy a perfect full-day Sound of Music experience including Leopoldskron Palace & Hiking Trail
A perfect private full-day tour – start out with a guided tour through the most exclusive premises of Leopoldskron Palace, visit The Sound of Music filming locations, hike the famous trail amidst breathtaking alpine scenery and learn more about the real life of the Von Trapp family.
After the guided tour at Schloss Leopoldskron - one of the filming locations - see the "16 going on 17"-Gazebo located at the Gardens of Hellbrunn Palace. The tour continues to the picturesque alpine village Werfen, where we follow Maria’s footstep on the Sound of Music Hiking Trail – the famous opening scene with breathtaking views.
On the way back, we are happy to arrange a lunch special (optional) at restaurant Obauer – one of the most exclusive restaurants in Europe awarded by the French Guide Gault Millau with 4 toque and 19 points. Please consider timewise a minimum of two hours. Lunch break can also be at any other time and location during the tour.
The last leg of the tour takes you via scenic mountain roads to Mondsee for a visit of the wedding cathedral where the romantic wedding in the movie was filmed - a perfect place to end a perfect day.
