Esztergom & Szentendre & Visegrad
This whole-day tour by bus introduces all three beautiful towns located along the Danube, to the north of Budapest.
Furthest from the capital is Esztergom that once was the capital of Hungary, and still is the capital of the Catholic Church in the country. The tour includes visiting the Basilica that is the largest catholic church of the country, and the treasury of the Basilica as well.
The next stop is Visegrád, with its royal castle on the top of a hill, at the end of a panorama street, the summer residence of ancient kings of Hungary. For a short time it was also the capital of the country. Lunch is included during the excursion as well.
Last in the row is Szentendre, the picturesque small town of artists, and its famous ceramics exhibition in the Kovács Margit Museum.
