Why I love being a tour guide
I have a warm-hearted and humurous personality and enjoy the interaction with all visitors. I love the interaction between multi-cultural people and feel right at home as a tour guide.

This tour was so much more than I...Catherine ParkerThis tour was so much more than I anticipated! It was informative and fun. Our tour guide, Birgit, was a wealth of information on the Sound of Music and shared fun facts about the cast and the film. It may sound corny, but we all sang along to some of the songs on the soundtrack. Everyone seemed to enjoy it. The bus driver was excellent and the bus was clean and air conditioned!
Great tourHc on Trustpilot, June 2023Great tour. Tour guide Brigette was excellent. She has fun with her audience and knew her stuff.
If you love the Sound of Music, this is your tour.Mystery Shopper on Trustpilot, July 2023If you're a Sound of Music fan, this is YOUR tour. Although at 60 Euros per person, it's not cheap; it lasts for four hours. The tour was very well organized, and the guide gave some interesting trivia and behind-the-scenes information about the filming of this iconic movie. Our guide, Bridgette, was professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and made our tour extra special.
Fantastic tourAlex, on Trustpilot, April 2023Fantastic tour. Brigitte was a great guide. Really informative, lots of fun. Honestly not to be missed.
Alive with the Sound of MusicRachel M, on Trustpilot, January 2023As big fans of the movie, growing up, Bridgette immediately captivated our childhood love for everything Sound of Music. She engaged the entire bus, of all ages, by even singing along with the taped recordings. She shared stories and facts about the movie production while providing ample time to take photos and for us to feel like we were stepping, quite literally, into the film. We saw the famous gazebo, the church in Mondsee, the Trapp family house and learned there is a steep fine for picking Edelweiss. The bus did not visit Mirabell Garden, but luckily we had stopped there on our own, prior to the tour. We highly recommend this informational, engaging and thoughtful tour by Panorama and if you happen to be with Bridgette, you are in for a treat!

Bridget was a fantastic guideScott Perkins, on Trustpilot, June 2022Bridget was a fantastic guide. We enjoyed her tour so much that we booked a second tour with her the following day. Salzburg itself is a beautiful small city which made it even better.

KateFe... on Viator, April 2026Had an amazing afternoon on the Sound of Music tour - as a family of Sound of Music lovers, this was the main reason we came to Salzburg, and it did not disappoint! Our guide Bridget (and driver Alex) was absolutely fantastic, getting everyone involved in singing along while driving through the breathtaking hills, and was also very knowledgeable about the film and the real family Von Trapp. Would totally recommend this tour for anyone visiting Salzburg in the near or distant future.
