Spend a half day in one of the most picturesque areas of Austria – where Emperor Franz Josef and his family spent their summer holidays.

Your first stop will be in Fuschl, where the former Prince Archbishops held royal hunts. His splendid hunting castle, located on a peninsula, was owned later on by the royal Habsburgs and accommodates nowadays one of the most exclusive hotels of the World.

Your drive will continue to the picturesque town of St. Gilgen at Lake Wolfgang where Mozart's mother was born. Depending on the season’s schedule you may take a boat cruise across the lake to the famous town of St. Wolfgang. (boat cruise is not included in the tour price)

Enjoy the breath-taking view during your 50 minute ride over the crystal-clear Lake Wolfgang. The historic pilgrim town of St. Wolfgang with its outstanding location surrounded by that amazing lake, forests and specular mountain scenery dates back more than 1.000 years! Explore the town and visit the Catholic Church with its doubled winged Gothic altar by Michael Pacher from the late 15^th century. Take a coffee break at the famous hotel "White Horse Inn" right at lake St Wolfgang enjoying the spectacular scenery. On your return trip we pass Lake Mondsee another beautiful holiday destination close to the city of Salzburg.
