The sumptuous surroundings of the Hotel Imperial Vienna were originally created in 1863 as the Viennese residence of the Prince of Württemberg and were transformed into the Hotel Imperial for the universal exhibition in 1873. The hotel gained renown around the world as a by-word for discretion and impeccable service.

The Hotel Imperial is known for the culinary highlights. Haute cuisine can be enjoyed at the Michelin starred Restaurant  OPUS where artistic creativity and culinary enjoyment is combined and thus holds a promise for gourmets and lovers of culinary art. The Imperial Café Vienna is a veritable institution among Viennese coffee houses that charmingly blends tradition and modernity. The HalleNsalon 1873 – a cozy Imperial salon reminiscent of a library - is the perfect place to relax and unwind in comfortable armchairs beneath dazzling crystal chandeliers.

The luxurious Hotel Imperial is located just off the ring boulevard adjacent to the world famous Musikverein, the venue of the annual New Year's concert. All the major sights of Vienna are very easy to reach from the hotel.
