Arrival by Car

Parking in the City of Salzburg

If you prefer to arrive by your own car, you can choose from various parking lots and underground garages around Mirabell Square. Right behind our bus terminal, you will find the spacious Mirabell parking lot and the Mirabell Garage.

Note: Every Thursday, the traditional market "Die Schranne" takes place at the Mirabell parking lot, and the parking lot is not accessible. The market is always worth a visit and offers fresh food, flowers, and products from Salzburg producers. A tip for those who want to experience some culinary specialties and traditional craftsmanship!

On Thursdays, it's best to use one of these parking lots:

  • Mirabell-Congress Garage
  • Wifigarage Salzburg Underground Parking
  • Linzer Gasse Parking Garage

Park & Ride Parking Lots

As an alternative to city parking lots, Park & Ride (P+R) parking lots just outside the city offer a great option compared to the relatively expensive downtown parking. Especially if you plan to explore the city after your tour, combining P+R parking with public transportation is a great choice:

  • P+R Messe & Trolleybus Line 1: "Salzburg Messe" to "Salzburg Mirabellplatz"
  • P+R Süd & Trolleybus Line 3: "Salzburg-Süd S-Bahn" to "Salzburg Mirabellplatz"
  • P+R Designer Outlet & Trolleybus Line 2: "Himmelreich DOC (Kasernenstr.)" to "Salzburg Mirabellplatz"
  • P+R Airport & Trolleybus Line 2: "Salzburg Airport Terminal" to "Salzburg Mirabellplatz"

Arrival by Train: Salzburg Main Station

Salzburg Main Station offers not only S-Bahn connections but also multiple daily connections to and from:

  • Linz
  • Vienna
  • Munich
  • Innsbruck
