From the end of November every year, Christmas time is back at the Residence Square and the Cathedral Square in Salzburg. The Salzburg Christkindlmarkt is located in the centre of the old town, historic palaces & the cathedral are surrounded by market stalls, offered by 95 exhibitors. The scent of candied fruit, roasted almonds, gingerbread, hot punch, mulled wine and other delicacies is in the air! By then everyone is in Christmas mood. Enjoy the fantastical scenery with the Fortress Hohensalzburg in the background and visit this unique and beautiful Christmas market in the old town of Salzburg.
